Hi. I have been the other woman in an ema for 5 months. I’m shy and very new to all of this so it’s going to take me a while to get comfortable sharing. There’s a lot of details and drama etc that make me hesitant to post it all in one place - it’s a lot to absorb lol.

All I know is that we were friends first, I never meant for this to happen, I feel like my heart is constantly broken but I also feel like I would feel 1000 times worse if I walked away from this person. And the guilt… it eats me alive. I spend more time crying now than I did during my own divorce 5 years ago. The good news is that there is hope, but our situation is particularly complicated and bogged down by legal issues.

Anyway, I look forward to reading everyone’s experiences and beginning to share about my own situation. Looking forward to finding common ground without being judged - I judge myself plenty as it is.

Thanks. ?

PS is there a place where I can find a guide for all the short hand? Still learning AP (affair partner?), MM, EMA etc

Welcome to the forum, whenyouweremine.

Under the dropdown menu at the top of the page is a list of the acronyms.
It is both a blessing and a curse to feel everything so deeply.
