Ok- I’ve been looking for and trying to figure out a place to go. So here I am! I am in a place I never thought I’d be- but I’m her. Feeling lost- overwhelmed, now that I’m divorced will he ever be? Idk.

I understand your feelings. If you focus everything on what he decides to do, it will eat you up. I have definitely been there. I am also going through a divorce. My MM will not abandon / leave his family and when I made peace with that and know it is because that his loyalty comes from a good place, and makes him the man he is, it helps. I know he gives me much more time and connection than he gives his BW and when it is he and I together, I am the center of his world. He does not do or give that time and attention and focus to anyone else in his busy life. It's an acceptance that the relationship is worth continuing, exactly as it is. With no additional expectations. That's where the peace is found. We are all here because the EMR is too good to simply walk away from. Hugs.
